Man, my life is so boring these days. I think I'd blog more, but I really have little to talk about. I am working on a fancy new blogskin totally from scratch, which will be nice once it's done, which won't be for a while. I'm taking some classes, too. They happen mostly on weekdays.

One of my professors plays MUDs. That means something to two of you, tops, but it's pretty funny. For the rest, there's a nice little sendup of a MUD here, to give you an idea what we're dealing with. This professor is apparently a nerd. You can decide for yourself by visiting his website.

I have a neighbor called "The Chainsaw." He prefers just "Chainsaw," but that's because he's the sort of person who calls himself "Chainsaw." It's obvious to any normal person that you need an article if you're going to name yourself after a weapon in Doom. Some people also call him "Steve." I prefer "The Steve."

The Chainsaw drinks the grossest whiskey in the world. If you don't believe me, go take a shot of Old Crow and tell me it isn't the most disgusting thing you've ever tasted. The shot I took was enough to turn me off to all alcohol forever - for maybe a quarter of an hour.

My football team is 3-0. How's yours?

I think Hurricane Ivan affected my cat's brain. Lately she's been viciously attacking anything that (a) starts moving, (b) stops moving, (c) continues to move, or (d) doesn't move. She also managed to get a pile of her litter into my sink. Fortunately it's clean litter, but still, how on god's earth does a cat get litter into a sink? Especially a cat without opposable thumbs, rudimentary tool usage, or any noticeable problem-solving ability!

It's gotten chilly enough that I can comfortably wear my natty new corduroy jacket. Caroline's English professor who she has a crush on spelled "hypocrisy" "hypocripsy." My resumé has nifty gradient headers. These are all major triumphs in my life right now.
