Does anyone else have a monster feeling of anticlimax? So I spent all afternoon (bordering on the evening) finishing off the paper and running willy-nilly all over the school trying to find a CD burner. I completely miss TBC rehearsal because the "20 minutes" of work I had to do took for-ev-er. I damn near miss getting a ride because the printer guy calls me just as I'm jaywalking across Academy Street. I arrange everything, get the CD burnt, get home, pop the CD in and -- lo and behold -- I missed the effing flag graphic. You know, that little thing at the top of a newspaper's front page with the name and the date and whatnot? Yeah. So tomorrow I have to call the guy, cancel the Sunday pickup, and wait for a buzz from Mr. Wade so I can tell him that I royally screwed up. The worst part about it is that I wasted so much other-stuff time on something I'm now going to have to wait for Monday to finish anyway. I really wanted to be at rehearsal, and I would have loved to see the Elephant Man again. I inconvenienced everybody, trod all over my schedule, tired my legs out, and fried my eyes staring at computer screens all day. And now the paper will probably come out on Thursday anyway. I don't think it'll affect any of the articles we're putting in, but it is so totally frustrating. I'm going to write more skits. I watched Something Completely Different to get in the mood.
